Charles Cashin

Charles is one of the founding directors of PWS Gulf and led the team which set up the company in the spring of 1998.
A Bachelor of Science and Chartered Insurance Broker, Charles has worked in international insurance broking for over 37 years for four international brokers including PWS Gulf. His expertise includes Marine, Marine Energy, Utilities, Construction, Financial Institutions, Jewellers, and Employee Benefits in addition to conventional Liability and Property classes.
He has experience of transacting insurance business across Europe, Africa, South Asia, and South East Asia.

Andrew Bathurst

Appointed a director of PWS Gulf in May 2012, Andrew has more than 40 years experience in both underwriting and broking at Lloyds of London including working at CEO level in very senior roles. An experienced Marine specialist, Andrew assists with PWS Gulf’s Marine placements into the London market and also provides a corporate presence in this important centre for us. Andrew was a Chairman of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London’s Marine committee for 10 years and is still on the committee.

Alfred Rodrigues

Alfred joined PWS Gulf in March 1999 from an Accounts background.
His main expertise is Marine Insurance, and he oversees the company’s Marine portfolio.

He is also well-versed in non-marine insurance. Alfred
graduated from Bombay University with a Bachelor of Commerce and is also a Fellow of the Indian Insurance Institute.

Fanny D’Souza

Fanny joined PWS Gulf in 1999.

Fanny handles Specie, Cargo and Non Marine classes. She runs the documentary process for our Marine Cargo and Specie binding authorities. She also handles an extensive portfolio of Financial Institutions, and other Non Marine insurance and reinsurance clients. She is a Fellow of the Indian Insurance Institute and Cert CII of London.

Arun Anand

Arun joined PWS Gulf in 2008 and now runs the new production and accounts programme. A qualified Chartered Accountant, he has more than twenty years of experience in accounts, finance and audit.

Nisha Reeba Thomas

Nisha joined PWS Gulf in 2008 – previously from a Life Insurance background. She has a Masters Degree in Mathematics and mainly handles reinsurance, particularly Specie, Financial Institutions, Liability and Engineering classes. She is a Fellow of the Indian Insurance Institute and Cert CII of London

Michelle Chong

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Banking and Finance from the Philippines. She has more than 15 of years’ experience in various professional fields working as an Office Administrator and Production Officer. Michelle primarily handles Marine insurances and also some General insurances.

Grace Hualda

A Bachelor of Science majoring in Information Technology graduate from the Philippines. Grace joined PWS Gulf in July 2008. She principally handles Liability, Property, Marine, and Engineering classes.

Dr. Ajitha Nair

Dr. Ajitha is a Medical Doctor, holding a Fellowship in insurance from the Insurance Institute of India, with more than 15 years of expertise in the healthcare industry, including extensive clinical practice. Having previously worked for both reputed TPAs and insurers as well as brokers, she also has expansive knowledge of the UAE Health Insurance Sector. Her skills, which she brought to PWS Gulf in 2014, is applied to the design of medical insurance schemes, quotations and the management, documentation, evaluation, and approval of claims. She currently oversees the Medical and Life Department at PWS Gulf.

Joyston D'mello

Joyston joined PWS Gulf in 2017. A Bachelor of Business Management, Joyston has more than 10 years in accounts and operations. He assists Arun in handling PWS Gulf Dubai and PWS Gulf UK accounts.

Syed Mubashir

Syed joined PWS Gulf in 2019. Previously employed as an auditor at an international firm. A qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), he has more than six years’ experience in accounts, finance and audit.

Nithin Gee Varghese

Nithin holds a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology and Business Administration (MBA) and has more than 8 years’ experience as a result oriented professional in business development. Nithin handles marketing of Motor insurance and corporate Medical insurance, and other classes of General Insurance.

Sreejith Thalappan

Sreejith joined PWS Gulf in December 2006. He has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and is responsible for marketing all classes of direct insurances; he has particular experience of Jewellers, Financial Institutions, and Medical schemes.
